This dress is really lovely, the cotton is a great quality and the skirt really is as full as in the picture when you add an underskirt. I've got quite long legs and it just touches my knees. Bought this for a rockabilly fancy dress/hen party. It is a beautiful fit and is much better quality than I expected compared to the usual quality of actual "fancy dress" costumes which normally fall apart after being wore once. You could actually wear this dress normally. I am 5ft 3in, size 10/12 and have a 34" bust and I ordered medium and it fits perfectly, it's about calf length on me. Lovely dress, and very nice fabric. Unfortunately all this was pointless as the length of the body of the dress was too short. I think maybe they make these abroad where people are a little shorter. My daughter is average height, (5ft 6") and was disappointed that the waistline for this dress came just below her breasts, a good 2 or 3 inches above where her actual waistline is. Adorable. I'm always nervous when ordering a dress online, especially so if the bodice is form fitted. You just never know or can trust that the sizing is accurate. This one is spot on. I purchased a petticoat, and am glad I did as the dress hangs much better with it. The fabric feels nice and is wearing well. Color is as expected. Beautiful dress when on. It looks lovely without a petticoat but the material is the type that would stick to your legs, so I ordered a petticoat from the same company to go with it, to give it the fuller 50's style look and it's fab. Very flattering dress and fits perfectly. Extremely good value for money even if you add the cost of the petticoat. I intend to wear it to a summer wedding as it looks so lovely ! Beautiful dress better than expected I used a tape measure and the dress looks like it was made for me, I would advise going by the suppliers size chart that way you can't go wrong.
